    Our Retirement Plans Department is a specialty team within MassMutual Greater Philadelphia: https://greaterphiladelphia.massmutual.com/; however the position is not centric to the mid-Atlantic region. We serve business and individual accounts nationally including an in-person presence with clients, selectively. As qualified plan specialists, we provide design consulting, investment education, and technical support to Trustees, and individuals who serve in the Fiduciary capacity. We pair with a network of affiliated administrators and enrollment specialists in all states. We are an organization of highly trained professionals backed by a team of product specialists including our group in the retirement services area. We have a successful sales enterprise with over 100 years of combined experience in retirement plan investing for businesses and individuals. The Agency is a sales organization which supports businesses and individuals with financial resource examination, estate analysis, retirement planning, college funding, business continuation, executive fringe benefits, and employee group benefit programs. 

    JOB DESCRIPTION: 

    This is a W-2 salaried position with salary increases and bonus based on our performance and growth within the department. 

    As a Financial Administrator, you would be one member on a sales / consulting team including specialists, brokers, staff, and administrators. The position includes quoting 401k retirement plans to businesses requesting proposals & screening these profiles via research and established systems. You would handle some customer correspondence, customer relationship management, case preparation, and basic investment analyses. The role includes conventional administrative duties, contact management systems data, and routine participation in our operational development. Upon starting the new position, you would begin study for Series 6 or 7 for the LSA (Licensed Sales Assistant) designation. All related education costs are covered by the employer. 

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    Proficiency with MS Office Suite, knowledge of Adobe (read and write), efficiency in learning financial concepts and strategies, experience with business correspondence, excellence in neatness and organization, proficiency with contact management systems, advanced ability with Internet searches and web site navigation, and amiable personality to mesh well within a team atmosphere. 

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    •Prepare cases for presentation 

    •Assist in portfolio design for business and individual investors 

    •Manage contacts 

    •Complete Investment Analysis 

    •Correspond with existing customers 

    •Assemble enrollment materials and coordinate meetings

    •Design effective support systems and allocation of resources 

    •Provide operational input for progressive development of the practice 

    SALARY INFORMATION: 

    50k+ W-2 start depending upon any existing financial services experience, immediate increases upon frequent favorable reviews, no cap on income, income is not expected to remain level and instead is intended to increase commensurate with value added
