    COMPENSATION:

    This business continues to build income year after year, and many of our advisors enjoy significant six figure (even seven figure) income. But starting out, let's be realistic. Years 1 to 3 potential income range is $50,000 to $90,000 at Plan per year.  Experienced Professionals with sales experience and a business network to leverage can realize significantly higher beginning income ranges. 

    Full benefits are available depending on your contract to include subsidized health insurance, 401k with full match, defined benefit pension plan, additional thrift plans, bonuses and allowances. 

    New advisors may be eligible for the New Advisor Incentive Based Plan which pays an additional $82,000 in the first three years (not a loan or draw and is calculated in addition to commission earned).

    TRAINING AND SUPPORT:

    From our comprehensive onboarding training that provides you a strong basis from which to launch your career, to a robust three-year training program, marketing support, as well as prospecting and technical assistance. Our collaborative, joint work culture gives you the ability to work with highly successful, established advisors and managers who assist you in developing a clientele. Plus, business technology tools, resources and support you would expect from a Fortune 100 company.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY FUNCTIONS:

    • Provide financial recommendations to clients for savings plans, life insurance policies, mutual fund investments, and other financial products
    • Use MassMutual's industry leading technology platform for advisors - Advisor360 -  to organize each client’s financial status, goals, cash flow, and monetary expectations for use in their individual financial plan
    • Assess each client’s potential life and financial needs to create an individualized financial plan that leverages the products and serves we offer
    • Identify, seek out, and generate prospects continuously using social media or other marketing tools and create strong relationships with new clients as their trusted advisor
    • Employ a research-based approach to providing financial advice and strategies based on educational meetings and/or seminars centered on client risk tolerance and financial goals

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Required to effectively network to identify potential new clients
    • Uncompromising integrity and the ability to effectively communicate complex programs and ideas is required
    • Minimum of 2yrs Sales and customer focused experience preferred. However, we will train and mentor the right candidate. Career changers are welcome!
