Responsibilities: • Assemble products for the client’s skin and prep the massage table before they arrive • Evaluate each client’s physical condition, stress level, and medical history to determine the most effective types of massage for their course of treatment • Support a positive working environment for both clients and staff through relationship building and team development • Treat clients safely and effectively using the appropriate therapeutic massage techniques that meet their needs • Offer supplementary services or products that complement the client’s treatment plan Qualifications: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Must have experience in different types of massage techniques such as deep tissue massage, sports massage, Swedish massage, and reflexology • Completion of a massage therapy program preferred • Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent degree • Licensure if required by state and local law • Prenatal experience, training, or willingness to learn to work on this demographic in a family practice setting.
