Compensation Overview (Clear & Transparent)

Therapists earn approximately 41–50% of the service value per massage, depending on training level

This includes:

Paid hourly wage for all time on-site

Service commission

Automatic 18% service charge on every service

Commission on retail sales

Add-ons and enhancements increase those earnings

What You’ll Do

Provide customized massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs and wellness goals

Perform massage and body treatments, including body scrubs

Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and appropriate enhancements (no high-pressure sales)

Build long-term client relationships through consistency and care

Maintain accurate session notes and treatment records

Uphold cleanliness, safety, and treatment room standards

Collaborate with the spa team to support a seamless client experience

What We’re Looking For

Current California Massage Therapy License

Proficiency in Swedish and therapeutic massage (Deep tissue and hot stones a plus)

Strong understanding of anatomy and the musculoskeletal system

1–2+ years of professional experience preferred, but newer therapists with strong fundamentals are welcome

Willingness to learn new modalities and participate in ongoing training

Professional, reliable, and client-focused

Team-oriented with a positive attitude
