    Now Hiring: Contract Massage Therapist – Join Our Physical Therapy Team!

    Are you a skilled Massage Therapist looking for a rewarding opportunity in a clinical, rehab-focused setting? Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists is seeking a contract/licensed massage therapist to work alongside our physical therapists, helping clients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve mobility.

    What You’ll Do:

    ✅ Provide therapeutic massage to clients recovering from injury or surgery
    ✅ Work alongside physical therapists to support individualized treatment plans
    ✅ Help relieve pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall well-being
    ✅ Educate clients on self-care and injury prevention techniques
    ✅ Maintain a professional, welcoming, and healing environment

    What We’re Looking For:

    ✔ Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Michigan
    ✔ Experience in medical, orthopedic, or rehabilitative massage (preferred)
    ✔ Strong knowledge of anatomy, injury recovery, and pain management techniques
    ✔ Excellent communication and client-focused approach
    ✔ Liability insurance (required)

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Current and valid Massage Therapy License in California.
    • Minimum of 1year of experience
    • Proficient in all components of massage therapy with the ability to work in a Treatment Facility.
    • Training or experience in trauma-informed care is strongly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of boundaries, confidentiality, and professionalism in a clinical setting.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
    • Reliable transportation required

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy, or somatic bodywork.
    • Familiarity with co-occurring mental health conditions.

    Work Environment:

    • This position operates in a residential treatment setting.
    • Flexible scheduling may be required, based on client needs.
