Responsibilities: • Use therapeutic massage techniques to deliver a safe and exceptional customer experience that meets their needs and desired results • Evaluate each client’s physical condition, stress level, and medical history to determine the most effective types of massage for their course of treatment • Build positive relationships with clients and team members to create a pleasant work environment • Offer general wellness maintenance advice to clients such as stretching and strengthening techniques • Assemble products for the client’s skin and prep the massage table before they arrive Qualifications: • Must have licensure that complies with state and local laws • High school graduate or equivalent • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Adequate knowledge of a variety of massage techniques such as reflexology, sports massage, Swedish massage, and deep-tissue massage • Preference to candidates who have completed a massage therapy program • Completion of a massage therapy program and Licensure per state and local laws/regulations • Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, sports, and medical massage • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Prefer one year of massage experience in a professional setting, but will consider new grads Compensation: $150 - $300 daily
