    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Massage therapists help patients relax, relieve pain, and improve their overall wellness through massage. Their duties include:

    Assessing Clients: Discussing a patient’s medical history, symptoms, and desired results; identifying areas of the body that are tense or painful.

    Creating Treatment Plans: Create personalized massage therapy plans for each patient; alignment with referrals and treatment plans prepared by chiropractic physicians, naturopathic medical doctors, or other specialists.

    Massage Therapy: Perform various massage techniques to manipulate muscles and soft tissues, providing relief from stress, tension, and pain. Listen to patients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire.

    Client Education: Offers patients guidance on stretching, strengthening exercises, relaxation techniques, and posture improvement to enhance their overall well-being.

    Documentation: Maintain accurate records of each patient’s condition, treatment plan, and progress over time.

    Scheduling & Appointments: Manage their own clientele and schedule to accommodate patient needs.

    Cleaning: Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of massage therapy rooms and common areas; sanitizing equipment.

    Promotion: Ideal candidate will share the same purpose, vision, and values as we do: “To deliver a world-class, customized therapeutic experience while maximizing retention and retail sales.” Makes patients feel comfortable; creates a positive first impression; sells themselves, the Clinic, and their professional skills; encourages them to return for additional treatment. Softly engage patients to determine their goals, needs, potential benefit from add-ons, massage therapy products (for maintenance); availability of gift cards.

    EDUCATION ‧ QUALIFICATIONS

    High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. One (1) year of professional massage therapy experience advantageous, but not required. Bilingual language (English/Spanish) beneficial, but not required.

    LICENSING ‧ CERTIFICATION ‧ INSURANCE ‧ TRANSPORTATION

    Must hold a current massage therapy license in the State of Arizona and be in good standing with relevant regulatory bodies. Reiki certification is a plus, but not required. Must carry professional liability insurance as required by state law. Must have reliable transportation.

    BUSINESS HOURS

    Business is open Monday to Friday, 9am – 7pm; Saturday, 9am – 12pm.

    COMPENSATION

    From $22 per hour + gratuities.

    Compensation based on experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
