    Job Summary

    We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our successful clinic. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team.

    Responsibilities

    Perform a variety of massage and body treatments

    Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy

    Maintain accurate records of each session

    Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments

    Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals

    Ensure a clean and safe facility

    Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.

    Qualifications

    Hold current state license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy

    Capable of performing deep tissue, Swedish, and maternity massage modalities

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting

    High level of ethics and integrity.

    Job Overview Join our team at NewLife Chiropractic, providing healthcare to the heart of Canby, Oregon. Work alongside chiropractors and other therapists for the betterment of the patient. Our wellness space has been a part of the Canby community for over 30 years. Our Licensed Massage Therapists are an integral part of the team, providing patients with therapeutic relief. Many of our patients are young families, prenatal, or MVA patients.

    What you’ll do

    Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.

    Provide a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.

    Develop customized treatment plans focused on pain management and overall wellness.

    Utilize your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness.

    Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure a welcoming and relaxing experience for all clients.

    Maintain accurate records of treatments administered and client progress.

    Collaborate with other health professionals to support occupational health initiatives.

    Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve your skills.

    Basic qualifications

    Hold current state license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy in Oregon

    Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.

    Able to pass a background check.

    Preferred qualifications

    Experience in a medical spa setting or similar environment.

    Proficiency in various massage techniques with an emphasis on pain management.

    Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.
