Our chiropractic & wellness facility is looking for an experienced massage therapist to join our team. Our ideal candidate is personable, committed to cultivating an excellent rapport with every client, and has worked with varied physical conditions that can benefit from massage therapy. Responsibilities: • Provide added value to client’s with suggestions for stretching, strengthening, stress relief, and overall wellness maintenance • Support a positive working environment for both clients and staff through relationship building and team development • Evaluate each client’s physical condition, stress level, and medical history to determine the most effective types of massage for their course of treatment • Keep track of client treatment records and plans and monitor improvement • Treat clients safely and effectively using the appropriate therapeutic massage techniques that meet their needs Qualifications: • Massage therapy program completion preferred • Must have worked as a massage therapist in a professional setting for at least one year • Licensure must comply with state and local laws and regulations • Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and reflexology • Must possess high-level interpersonal and communications skills • Active Illinois massage therapy license in good standing • Experience working in a clinical setting Compensation: $30 - $35 hourly
