Our chiropractic & wellness facility is looking for an experienced massage therapist to join our team. Our ideal candidate is personable, committed to cultivating an excellent rapport with every client, and has worked with varied physical conditions that can benefit from massage therapy. Responsibilities: • Assess and advise on each client’s unique needs, taking into consideration their level of stress, physical condition, and medical history, and offer recommendations for types of massage and treatment • Give clients suggestions for wellness maintenance such as stretches and stress relief techniques • Oversee client plans and treatment progression, and maintain accurate treatment records • Use therapeutic massage techniques to deliver a safe and exceptional customer experience that meets their needs and desired results • Suggest other available products and services that can help meet the client’s needs • Build positive relationships with clients and team members to create a pleasant work environment Qualifications: • Completion of a massage therapy program preferred • Adequate knowledge of a variety of massage techniques such as reflexology, sports massage, Swedish massage, and deep-tissue massage • Over one year of work experience as a massage therapist • High school diploma or equivalent • Active Illinois massage therapy license in good standing • Experience working in a clinical setting Compensation: $30 - $35 hourly
