Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our successful clinic. We are looking for more of a Manual Therapist wanted to work in a therapy practice. Our clinical focus is dedicated to individual, quality patient care with strong and exceptional outcomes. This is Not a high-volume practice. Our primary focus is treating Federal workers who have been injured while working for the United States Government. These are patients who are motivated to attend physical therapy and manual therapy, perform the prescribed rehab and get back to work in a safe manner as quickly as possible. We are seeking a Licensed Manual Therapist who has graduated from an accredited school, A strong work ethic, dedication to helping patients and the ability to document the patient encounter is important.
All prescriptions for physical therapy and Manual Therapy are written by the medical provider with medical necessity indicated. Templates for manual Therapy notes are provided and are very easy to fill out. Experience is helpful; however, we are willing to train a new LMT as well. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team.

Monday 8 am- 6 pm \ Wednesday 8 am- 6 pm \ Thursday 8 am - 6 pm \ Friday 8 am - 12 pm. Averaging 30-35 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of massage and body treatments
Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
Maintain accurate records of each session
Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments
Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their goals
Ensure a clean and safe facility
Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.
Direct Patient Care – Massage Therapy Only
Perform therapeutic massage or manual therapy techniques as prescribed by the referring physician.
Tailor each treatment to the patient's injury, physical findings, and OWCP-accepted diagnosis.
Provide only services that fall within the licensed massage therapist scope of practice.
Maintain 1-on-1 hands-on care during the entire session, avoiding modalities outside of massage/manual therapy.
Qualifications
Hold current state license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy
Capable of performing deep tissue, Swedish, and soft tissue modalities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
High level of ethics and integrity.

Key Competencies • Strong manual therapy skills including injury recovery techniques (e.g., myofascial release, deep tissue, sports massage). • Excellent patient communication and rapport-building. • Precision and attention to detail in documentation. • Commitment to professional boundaries and scope of practice. • Ability to work independently and under clinical supervision. • Familiarity with EMR documentation systems.
