FINANCE MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION

The Finance Manager would support the Byers engineering business of MasTec Communications Group. The position will require frequent collaboration with market based operational leadership and personnel and will be looked to for guidance in achieving and maintaining financial goals and targets.

Below is a summary of requirements and responsibilities:

• Expertise in understanding / documenting significant financial processes
  • Revenue recognition
  • Cost recognition
  • A/R and billing
  • WIP calculations
  • Employee payroll
  • GAAP / accrual basis accounting
• Experience in financial and P&L analysis
  • A/R aging
  • WIP aging
  • Customer / profit center analysis
• Expertise in creating / assessing business metrics and KPIs
  • Profitability measures
  • Efficiency measures
    • Customer / project / task level
  • Experience with QuickBase and ORACLE
  • Strong verbal / written / interviewing skills
  • 3-5 year experience / background in audit (external and/or internal)
  • Travel up to 25% of the work year
  • Based in Atlanta office, with market office visits intermittently required
