MASTECH DIGITAL provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a MEMBER OF TECHNICAL STAFF (MTS) - CONTRACTOR for our client in the COMPUTER SOFTWARE domain. DURATION: 06+ Months Contract (possible extension)

LOCATION: San Jose, CA

ROLE: MEMBER OF TECHNICAL STAFF (MTS) - CONTRACTOR

PRIMARY SKILLS: JAVASCRIPT

ROLE DESCRIPTION: The MEMBER OF TECHNICAL STAFF (MTS) – CONTRACTOR must have at least 2-5+ years of experience.

KEY SKILLS DESIRED:

• Good in front end

• JavaScript and NodeJS technologies, React/ Redux.

• Experience developing Enterprise web applications.

REQUIRED CODING LANGUAGES:

• (1) React, Redux, Redux Saga–should know these technologies and wants to make sure they can ramp quickly

• (2) Node JS, Express

• (3) JavaScript

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Finely tuned critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• A Bachelors/ Masters in Computer Science (or equivalent)

• Experience in developing exceptional user interfaces using HTML, CSS and JS

• Experience in creating UI components using frameworks like Angular/ React/ Vue

• Experience in developing REST APIs using server-side frameworks like Express/ Sails

• Experience in writing unit tests using popular open-source frameworks

• Good understanding of the web security model

• 2-5 years of relevant experience

• Ability to deliver best-in-class UI experience

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience in developing enterprise web applications

• Experience with build tools like grunt, webpack

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and control-plane software

YOU WOULD BE:

• Working closely with the UX and visual design team to build a highly engaging UI

• Working closely with the product management team to understand user needs

• Work in DevOps model where quality is a shared responsibility and there is no strict line between Dev & QA

• Open to contributing to the team’s testing automation efforts.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
