    **Role Overview

    **Works with various raw materials in the manufacture of products. Responsible for following specific instructions outlining designated quantities to be used and production times required. Operates various equipment in the manufacture of products; utilizes basic repair tools in performing routine mechanical repairs; operates forklift to load and/or unload raw materials and finished products.

    One or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to understand and follow all written manufacturing work orders and oral instructions, read various measuring devices and perform basic mathematical calculations.

    **Responsibilities

    **

    • Responsible for combining raw materials, as designated by work order for the manufacture of chemical admixtures.
    • Responsible for unloading raw materials, loading bulk trucks and packaged goods with finished products.
    • Immediately reports unsafe acts or conditions to his/her supervisor and takes immediate interim steps to protect himself/herself and others from serious risk
    • May perform various clerical and other duties as required or assigned.
    • Follow all appropriate Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies.
    • Wears prescribed Personal Protective Equipment and ensures that prescribed safeguards are properly used.
    • Notifies his/her supervisor before undertaking a work activity in which he/she is not adequately trained.
    • Immediately reports unsafe acts or conditions to his/her supervisor and takes immediate interim steps to protect himself/herself and others from serious risk.

    **Qualifications

    **

    • One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful.
    • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Read and comprehend manufacturing instruction.
    • The individual must be able to lift to 50 pounds (23KG) throughout the shift.
    • You will solve simple math problems, +, -, x, /, to accurately record chemical additions, lot

    numbers, record scale/meter readings.
