    Job Description

    Position Location: This is a hybrid opportunity with 1-3 days per week onsite at our Oak Creek, WI office.

    The Manager, Brand Marketing works seamlessly with the VP, Brand Development to support the development and implementation of the overarching brand positioning and communication strategy for Master Lock and other brands within Fortune Brands Innovations’ Security business unit. This individual also collaborates with other brand and channel marketing leaders and the consumer insights team to bring the brand to life.

    Responsibilities will include the development and communication of brand positioning, target identification, campaign development, brand and content standards, branded content development and optimization, marketing initiatives and sponsorships, brand public relations, and agency management.

    This is a highly collaborative and inspirational role designed to optimize and celebrate one of our most important assets: the Master Lock brand. This role demands strong brand strategy acumen, excellent organization and attention to detail, strong communication skill, and a high level of collaboration with both internal and external teams.

    • In partnership with global marketing leaders, digital marketing & media teams, consumer insights, and our agency partners, develop and implement brand-focused content including brand photography, videography, social media, and digitally-driven marketing campaigns.
    • Work proactively with external and internal partners & vendors to execute key content development projects. Ensure alignment of creative direction with Master Lock brand vision.
    • Working collaboratively across the organization, drive the development and execution of the overarching public relations plan for Master Lock.
    • Develop a clear understanding of our primary and secondary target audiences; track and report performance against established KPIs and benchmarks according to long-term brand and product goals upon which communication campaigns will be evaluated.
    • Creatively guide the development and execution of brand, photography and videography standards, advertising, public relations, sponsorships, and cause-related marketing in support of relevant, impactful, results-driven communications.
    • Develop and communicate a deep industry, market, and channel understanding to advance and address Master Lock brands and business objectives.
    • Support the development of fresh, innovative ideas for how Master Lock addresses business goals and engages target audiences. Oversee the development of meaningful content via press releases, infographics, videos and other shareable assets for external and internal use.
    • Drive the visual communication needs across the organization to amplify the Master Lock brand story.
    • Assist in the development and management of brand marketing budget; optimize overall annual investment for brand related marketing initiatives.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in advertising/public relations/communications with an agency or brand with a keen understanding of brand building tactics.
    • Demonstrated experience developing and managing relationships with partner agencies and media targets.
    • In-depth knowledge of brand strategy, creative strategy, content production, and various paid media channels.
    • Proven ability to execute a multi-dimensional strategy across functions, including internal stakeholders/partners, events, influencers, and consumers/customers.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to tell stories that persuasively deliver key insights.
    • Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
    • Must be able to work in fast paced environment and handle multiple projects effectively.
