    Job Description

    The Channel Marketing Specialist supports the planning and execution of channel-specific marketing tactics to achieve P&L objectives. You will be executing channel-specific marketing strategies, planning marketing campaigns, tradeshows and managing marketing communications. You will be skilled at working on cross-functional teams including Category Management, Finance, Digital, Sales, Brand Development, and Brand Execution. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented, motivated, passionate, creative, and collaborative individual who has an understanding of distribution channels, wide marketing experience, tradeshow management experience, and strong project management skills with a keen eye for attention to detail.

    Working Conditions

    This role is designated as a hybrid role which includes working in-office at least 3 days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) in Oak Creek, Wisconsin to foster better collaboration, connection, and innovation.

    Occasional travel required (up to 35%).

    Responsibilities

    • In partnership with brand execution team, **plan & execute customer events and tradeshow experience **for both retail and commercial sales channels.
    • Manage 3rd party tradeshow partners, including occasional travel to setup show properties to ensure flawless execution.
    • Partner with brand execution team to ensure development of digital collateral to drive product launches, promotions, key marketing campaigns, programs within channel and customer-specific marketing.
    • Collaborate with Category Management teams to identify and implement growth initiatives within our current product portfolio as well as expansion areas.
    • Support the development of the retail channel marketing strategy. Influence, and align with sales colleagues, key internal business partners, and other cross-functional teams
    • Understand business unit P&L objectives to make sound go-to-market recommendations in order to drive top and bottom-line growth.
    • Collaborate with sales, product marketing, and brand execution teams to support:
      • Merchandising development & execution
      • Customer line reviews
      • Presentations and training delivery on new and existing products
    • Development and production of marketing communications efforts such as programs and promotions, collateral materials, videos, photography, packaging, digital assets, copy writing, etc.
    • Provide input to brand and print, digital, video & merchandising messaging and ensure they align with the overall channel strategy and drive the best possible consumer experience
    • Determine platforms to ensure sales team has modern marketing tools & techniques to enable sales
    • Build and maintain channel expertise through field travel, attendance at industry events, competitive analysis and close collaboration with sales and business unit partners.
    • Lead cross-functional planning to ensure alignment and preparedness across multiple stakeholders – delivering on time and on-quality work
    • Create, execute and measure marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of the company’s brands, products and services.
    • Analyze market data, trends, consumer preferences, and competitor behavior to optimize marketing tactics.
    • Continuous improvement – we’re looking for someone to evaluate current ways of working, explore alternatives, and recommend & implement better tools to elevate team capabilities.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
    • Background in B2B and B2C a plus.
    • Minimum of three to five years of sales, product management, or marketing experience required. Experience within the Consumer/Durable Goods industry preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate and build trust.
    • Demonstrated solid analytical and budget management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business.
    • Strong resilience to find solutions; independent thinking and problem-solving.
    • Growth mindset – demonstrated ability, and desire to rapidly learn.
    • Experience managing agency partners preferred.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives with limited guidance
    • Deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
