Are you experienced in tutoring students in the following courses: AP PreCalc, AP Calc AB/BC, AP Statistics, AP Language, AP Literature, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP US History, and AP World History?     We are looking to hire AP Instructors/Tutors who will be responsible with conducting 1:1 or group tutoring sessions with our students who are preparing for the AP Exams. Our instructor must be able to teach students test-taking strategies and time management skills to maximize students’ performances on the AP Exam. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced educators to make a positive impact on students' learning goals. This is a Flexible, Part-Time opportunity.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor’s degree in related field in tutoring (required)

    Master's degree in related field in tutoring from an accredited college or university (preferred)

    1 year experience teaching AP courses as a tutor/teacher (required)

    Successful track record of developing student’s knowledge in AP Test Prep (required)

    Professional communication skills (both spoken and written)

    Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

    Able to work independently and collaborate with a team

    Enthusiastic about working with students and parents

    Able to maintain strict confidentiality

    Highly organized and detail-oriented (attention to detail and accuracy is imperative)

    Ability to meet schedules and deadlines

    Good judgment and decision-making abilities

    Good problem-solving skills

    JOB DUTIES:

    Collaborate with the Director of Curriculum Development to develop lesson plans and curricula as needed

    Deliver interactive and engaging AP lessons

    Provide guidance and instruction on the content and format of the AP.

    Administer practice tests and analyze results to identify areas of improvement

    Assess students' progress through regular evaluations, including tests, assignments, and participation, and provide constructive feedback to support their educational development.

    Provide homework help as needed

    Able to lead a classroom of students effectively and work efficiently with students

    Good classroom management skills

    Typical hours:

    Must be flexible Monday - Friday from 2pm-8pm, Saturdays from 10am-4pm
