    Do you ever look back on your academic journey and wish you had a mentor to give you advice during your college application process? YOU can be that person that makes an impact! We are seeking a College Counselor to support our high school and undergrad students in navigating the college admissions and graduate admissions process. You will work closely with our college counseling team and educational planners in order to provide the best service to our students. Our counselors guide students in areas related to course selection, academic achievement, internship and volunteer opportunities, college and career planning, and ongoing guidance related to overall success in their educational journey. To thrive in this position, you must be someone who has the dedication, passion, commitment, and excitement to mentor our high school and undergrad students.

    Masterprep Academy is dedicated to helping students and their families navigate the complex and competitive landscape of college counseling by providing personalized, comprehensive, and results-driven guidance that empowers our students to reach their potential.

    Responsibilities include:

    Conduct 1:1 meetings with students to explore college options and assist students in where to apply to college.

    Collaborate with students in brainstorming and articulating personal essays that highlight their unique abilities and experiences.

    Thoroughly review and refine the application materials and essays.

    Provide mentorship to students on course selection, leadership development, and extracurricular activities.

    Research and stay up to date on school admission requirements and trends

    MUST commit for the minimum duration of the student’s college application process.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree

    Passion to mentor high school students to reach their goals

    In-depth knowledge of college admissions processes (preferred)

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Strong organizational and time management abilities

    Commitment to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards

    Proficiency in using technology for counseling and record-keeping purposes

    Compensation:

    Commensurate based on experience
