Job Title: Master Social Worker (MSW) Organization: ANiz Inc. Reports To: Clinical Director
Position Summary
ANIZ Inc. is seeking a motivated and compassionate Master Social Worker (MSW) to support the delivery of comprehensive behavioral health services within our organization. This role focuses on care coordination, client engagement, and supportive services for individuals impacted by mental health and substance use challenges, including those served through Ryan White and SAMHSA-funded programs. Working under the guidance of the Clinical Director, the MSW plays a key role in enhancing access to care, promoting stability, and supporting clients along their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with client intake, screenings, and coordination of psychosocial assessments.
Support the development and implementation of individualized service plans in collaboration with licensed clinical staff.
Provide case management and care coordination services to clients, including linkage to medical, behavioral health, and community resources.
Work closely with Ryan White clients to ensure access to supportive services and adherence to care plans.
Assist SAMHSA program participants with recovery support services, including referrals, follow-ups, and resource navigation.
Conduct outreach and engagement efforts to retain clients in services and improve health outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with organizational and funding requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and client-centered care.
Provide general support, encouragement, and psychoeducation to clients and families.
Participate in supervision, trainings, and team meetings to support professional growth.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Eligible for or pursuing licensure (LMSW preferred but not required at hire, depending on state guidelines).
Experience or strong interest in working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Familiarity with Ryan White and/or SAMHSA-funded programs is a plus.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage diverse populations with a culturally responsive and trauma-informed approach.
