ABOUT THE ROLE
BODYBAR is seeking a National Pilates Master Trainer and Instructor Educator to play a key role in delivering and evolving our instructor training program across a rapidly growing national studio network. This is a highly visible, hands-on role responsible for leading instructor trainings, developing talent, and ensuring every BODYBAR class reflects our commitment to excellence, consistency, and safety.
Reporting to the Vice President of Fitness, you’ll travel extensively to support new studio openings, lead immersive training experiences, and mentor instructors at all stages of development. You’ll also contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement, helping shape the future of BODYBAR education.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Instructor Training and Facilitation
Lead multi-day instructor trainings for new studio openings nationwide
Deliver engaging, high-impact education through classes, workshops, and practical coaching
Assess instructor performance and provide clear, actionable feedback
Coach movement, cueing, and class delivery aligned with Pilates principles and safety standards
Adapt training approach to support different learning styles and experience levels
Studio Support and Onboarding
Partner with studio leadership to support instructor onboarding and readiness
Track training progress and support instructors through certification and test-outs
Provide ongoing coaching through follow-ups, continuing education, and on-site visits
Ensure alignment with brand standards, timelines, and training expectations
Curriculum Development and Program Growth
Support the development and refinement of training materials, workshops, and education programs
Identify opportunities to improve instructor development pathways and training effectiveness
Contribute feedback and insights to enhance the overall Instructor Training Program
Program Quality and Brand Representation
Monitor training outcomes and maintain documentation of instructor progress
Share insights and recommendations to improve consistency and quality across studios
Represent BODYBAR at events, trainings, and community activations
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Comprehensive Pilates certification (450+ hours required)
2+ years of experience in instructor education, training, or Master Trainer roles
Experience teaching group fitness or boutique fitness modalities
Strong understanding of Pilates, biomechanics, and movement coaching
Excellent communication, facilitation, and mentorship skills
Experience with curriculum development or instructional design preferred
Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Ability to travel up to 90% (including weekends and extended assignments)
Passion for fitness, education, and building strong instructor communities
