  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    As a Logistics Associate, you are responsible for preparing and maintaining all MBCI Logistics contracts, tariff administration, and managing all activities related to recovering freight claims.

    THIS ROLE CAN BE 100% REMOTE

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Preparing and maintaining all contracts and addendum updates
    • Research and file freight claims for logistics damages and shortages
    • Managing tariff rates in TMS
    • Acting as a liaison between legal, carrier operations, logistics providers and outside insurance agents
    • Cross-training in other positions within the department
    • Support special projects that align with organizational goals
    • Identify recurring issues, investigate root causes, and drive actions to resolution

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain, Business or related field strongly preferred
    • Lean/Six Sigma training and/or certification preferred
    • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
