    Job Description

    The Kitchens Finance Operations Manager is an integral part of the business management team supporting the Kitchens Business Unit and is responsible for financial management and control of the four Distributive Assembly facilities (DA). The Manager will lead the Kitchens operations finance team that supports the four DA sites while being the primary finance partner for the VP Kitchens Manufacturing Operations. The manager will work to improve the business and be sought after as a key change leader in the Kitchens unit. Other key interfaces for the role include sourcing logistics and other areas of the finance team.

    Accountabilities:

    • Ensure appropriate controls are in place and effective at the DA locations
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve the business and finance processes
    • Serve as central finance point of contact for Kitchens operations leadership
      • Ensure accurate and timely reporting
      • Develop performance metrics to meet changing business needs
      • Be the financial advisor for the business
    • Own reporting and forecasting of the Kitchens plant P&Ls
    • Analyze actual results vs. forecast budget and prior year
    • Develop tools to provide better operational analysis
    • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and standardization
    • Work with operations team to recommend and prepare capital expenditure proposals
    • Lead divisional budget and annual physical inventory processes
    • Develop improved material costing processes including intercompany transfers across the four DA sites and other MBC facilities
    • Assist with project costing for Kitchens Business unit
    • Lead financial analyses of supply chain optimization studies across the Kitchens Business Unit
    • Provide direct management of analyst team
      • Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
      • Review reporting for consistency and accuracy
      • Review and approve account reconciliations and journal entries
      • Ensure proper process documentation is in place and individuals are cross trained on multiple positions
      • Personnel development including coaching and annual performance review process

    Organizational Relationship:

    Reports to Kitchens Finance Director

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Ability to prepare and communicate presentations at the executive level (effectively communicate up).
    • Knowledge and experience regarding ERP & MRP systems
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – the ability to take complex subject matter and package in a story-board format that is clear and simple.
    • The ability to align priorities organize resources and lead individuals / groups to drive results by overcoming obstacles and holding people accountable.
    • Ability to think outside the box; takes on challenges in order to change the business where needed, seeking positive results

    Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA CMA or MBA is a plus.
    • Minimum of 5 years overall financial experience with demonstrated history of increasing responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
