Position Title: Warehouse/Delivery Driver

Location: Cheyenne, WY

Reports To: Operations Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual for a hybrid role as a Warehouse/Delivery Driver. This position requires a versatile candidate who can efficiently manage warehouse operations and deliver goods promptly and safely. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations

Inventory Management:

Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.

Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.

Organize warehouse spaces for optimal efficiency.

Order Fulfillment:

Pick and pack orders accurately according to delivery schedules.

Ensure all outgoing deliveries are correctly labeled and shipped

Equipment Maintenance:

Operate warehouse machinery and vehicles safely.

Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.

2. Delivery Operations

Route Planning:

Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

Load delivery vehicles with the correct orders and ensure secure transportation.

Customer Interaction:

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Handle any delivery issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally.

3. Safety and Compliance

Regulatory Adherence:

Comply with all safety regulations and company policies during warehouse and delivery operations.

Ensure all deliveries meet company and legal requirements.

Health and Safety:

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse.

Conduct regular safety checks and report any hazards.

4. Documentation and Reporting

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory levels, and warehouse activities.

Prepare and submit delivery reports and other required documentation.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, customers, and management. Provide regular updates on delivery statuses and any issues encountered.

5. Team Collaboration and Support

Teamwork:

Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including receiving and processing returns.

Support team members in achieving operational goals.

Training and Development:

Participate in training programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Mentor and assist new team members in learning warehouse and delivery processes.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Proven experience in warehouse operations and delivery driving.

· Ability to operate warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts) and delivery vehicles.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

· Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual labor.
