    Team Overview:

    At Masterworks, we invest heavily in daily ad campaigns to attract new users to our platform. These ad campaigns primarily span social media platforms, email newsletters, affiliate networks, radio, podcasts, and influencers. As such, we have an in-house team of copywriters and designers to create new ad collateral and collaborate with campaign managers as well as our compliance team. As a team, we work towards maximizing the return on our ad spend every month.

    Position Overview:

    Masterworks is seeking a talented and motivated copywriter to join our marketing team. As a copywriter, you will play a crucial role in concepting new advertising concepts, writing copy for specific ad placements across a variety of mediums, and taking a data-driven approach to optimizing ad creatives.

    Our ideal candidate is experienced with financial copywriting for direct response, digital marketing campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about growth marketing and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Writing original copy for daily ad campaigns.
    • Researching current events, reports, and concerns relevant to self-directed investors.
    • Collaborating with compliance to ensure all marketing collateral conforms to the SEC's Marketing Rule.
    • Reviewing ad performance data alongside media buyers and tailoring creative to help maximize performance from copy iterations.
    • Contributing ideas to weekly creative brainstorming sessions with the marketing team.

    Requirements and Preferred Skill Sets:

    • 3+ years of experience in direct-response copywriting for financial products
    • Proficiency in Google Suite and Excel
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or similar disciplines preferred

    Measurements of Success within 60 days:

    • Build a system to test and iterate new copy performance within various advertising mediums including email newsletters, radio and podcast scripts, YouTube influencers, affiliate sites (NerdWallet, Forbes, WSJ, etc), and more.
    • Create 10-20 new concepts and test them within online platforms to acquire leads.

    How does Masterworks think about compensation?

    The compensation range for the role is $70-90k (inclusive only of base salary, and exclusive of other potential competitive benefits such as on-target commission, bonus payments, and equity). Our ranges are very broad to accommodate all types of candidates and encourage growth. Specific compensation offered to a candidate may be dependent on factors such as education, experience, qualifications, and alignment with market data. Exceptional candidates may receive salaries outside of the posted ranges.
