    Position Overview:

    Masterworks is looking for a Membership Coordinator responsible for meeting with potential investors by phone, igniting their interest in Masterworks, and guiding them to the next step of the investment process. We are seeking passionate individuals to assist users in answering high-level questions about art as an asset class and help convert website users to active investors.

    This role is designed for someone who is passionate about sales, has the drive to excel in a start-up/fintech environment, and has experience going above and beyond for their customers. We would love a candidate with an interest in art, but certainly not required. Our ideal candidate has 1-2+ years of experience in a customer service or sales role.

    ****PLEASE NOTE: This position requires weekend availability, both SATURDAY & SUNDAY ****

    Responsibilities:

    • ~300 outbound calls per day to potential investors
    • Assisting in the day-to-day onboarding of new investors
    • Speaking to the inner workings of Masterworks, explaining art as an asset class
    • Scheduling investor appointments with the Investment Advisor team
    • Effective follow-ups with investors who are lukewarm but not yet sold

    Requirements or Skill Sets:

    • Must be able to work on both Saturday and Sunday (local time)
    • 1-2+ years of sales experience
    • 1+ years of experience in financial services preferred
    • Strong understanding of financial markets
    • Strong interest in selling alternative investments
    • Highly organized, results-driven personality
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-6pm your local time
    • Must be able to work remote
    • Must be eligible to work in the US - no exceptions

    How does Masterworks think about compensation?

    This is a remote position open to candidates located ONLY in Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming.

    The compensation range for the role is $9-14 hourly (inclusive only of hourly pay, and exclusive of other potential competitive benefits such as on-target commission, bonus payments, etc.). The advertised pay scale reflects the good faith salary range for this role and is not a promise of a particular wage for any specific employee. Specific compensation offered to a candidate may be dependent on factors such as education, experience, qualifications, and alignment with market data. Exceptional candidates may receive salaries outside of the posted ranges.
