    COMPANY OVERVIEW:

    Masterworks is a fintech platform where anyone can invest in shares of SEC-registered blue-chip paintings by names like Banksy, Monet, and Picasso. So far, their current holdings exceed $300M across over 80 works, which is expected to surpass $1 billion in 2022. Right now, new paintings launch on their platform every week.

    With 150 employees and over 300,000 registered users, the business has been featured in major media publications such as The NY Times, CNBC, CNN, WSJ, and more. After becoming profitable in early 2020, just three years after being founded, Masterworks raised $110M in its Series A round with a valuation of over $1 billion.

    All employees work in their offices at Brookfield Place in the Financial District of New York City.

    TEAM OVERVIEW:

    The Media Operations team is responsible for a $1M+ monthly media budget across:

    • Influencers (YouTube, Instagram, Twitter)
    • Sponsored articles
    • Email newsletters
    • Podcasts

    We drive quality leads to our sales team. Our objective is to scale the monthly budget to $5M while maintaining ROI and 5x the team's size by 2023. As the team grows, we will build out separate teams for every vertical that will each require a dedicated manager.

    Right now, our Media Operations team consists of:

    • (6) media buyers
    • (2) trainees
    • (3) copywriters
    • (1) analyst

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    This is an end-to-end partnerships role working with influencers on paid promotions with a goal of user acquisition.

    • Individually, you will control a $500k monthly budget to spend on newsletters, podcasts, or influencer partners- your vertical will depend on your background and interest
    • Daily, you will prospect, negotiate with, and book new partners for upcoming ads
    • You will coordinate with the creative team to deliver ad collateral to new and existing partners
    • You will analyze ad performance to determine whether to continue partnerships

    MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

    • Meeting your monthly spend and ROAS goals, which are calculated monthly from internal growth targets

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in influencer marketing

    CORE COMPETENCIES:

    • Time management & organization
    • Persistence in Negotiation
    • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities & conditions
    • Speaks and writes articulately without being overly verbose

    PREFERRED:

    • Experience with financial services products (or an understanding of financial services, such as a college degree in finance) is a plus
    • Experience working in a startup or agency environment

    COMPENSATION:

    • Base salary + performance bonus, paid out monthly

    • Must be eligible to work in the US - no exceptions.
    • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN OUR NYC OFFICE 5 DAYS A WEEK.
