    Looking for a talented Independent Mortgage Originator to join our esteemed team in Houston, TX. As an Independent Mortgage Originator, you will have a pivotal role in assisting new home purchasers and those seeking refinancing throughout the complete loan journey - starting from application to closing. Your responsibilities will involve evaluating potential buyers, analyzing diverse financing alternatives, and serving as the primary contact point for home buyers as they progress through the home-buying process. Join us in helping individuals realize their dream of becoming homeowners. Responsibilities: • Schedule and conduct mortgage financing conversations with potential REALTORS, banking, and homebuilder clients. • Conduct interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data, determine financing objectives, discuss with borrowers product/pricing guidelines, and gather any additional required information. • Prepare mortgage loan applications including required supporting documentation for submission to underwriting. • Track and follow the process to ensure a smooth transaction. • Work with several different mortgage supply vendors. Qualifications: • 3+ years proven mortgage loan origination track record. • MUST have a current NMLS license. • Independent self-starter ready to pull ahead in the mortgage lending business with a great new company. • Experienced in Fannie, Freddie, FHA, USDA, and VA lending. • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in mortgage lending. Compensation: $60,000 at plan commission
