We are hiring a Material Handler in Kansas City, MO to support raw material flow, production, and finished-goods shipping in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Material Handler keeps production lines supplied, stages finished goods for shipment, and maintains accurate inventory in the ERP system. This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone comfortable working on the floor and operating powered industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities – Material Handler
- Move raw materials from receiving to designated storage and supply production lines with coils, components, and parts based on schedule priorities.
- Transport materials between operations, stage finished goods, and prepare shipments through labeling, packing support, and truck loading and unloading.
- Execute inventory transactions in the manufacturing ERP, including issues, transfers, and returns, and support cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely; perform daily equipment checks and report issues promptly.
- Maintain clean, organized, 5S-compliant work areas and ensure proper identification and traceability of all raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Qualifications – Material Handler
- Prior experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing operations.
- Current forklift certification required at time of hire.
- Working knowledge of material flow across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to execute under production deadlines.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Preferred Qualifications – Warehouse Material Handler
- Experience working in a manufacturing ERP system (M1 experience a plus).
- Background supporting both production replenishment and shipping operations.
- Familiarity with cycle counting, inventory accuracy, and lot/serial traceability.
- Experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, or RF scanners.
- Comfort working across multiple departments and shifting priorities.
Physical Requirements – Material Handler
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and assist with team lifts up to 70 lbs.
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb on and off equipment for a full shift on concrete floors.
- Work in a typical manufacturing and warehouse environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Operate powered industrial equipment throughout the workday.
- On-site role in the Kansas City, MO area; shift assignment may vary based on operational need.
