Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate material forecasts to meet production demands.
• Manage purchasing activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and placing orders with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce excess stock and minimize shortages.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
• Assist in the development of budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to material orders and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in material planning, purchasing, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.

Salary info:
