    Job Description

    STS Aerospace is looking for a Material Planner to join our growing team!
    In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the timely flow of materials to support manufacturing operations, maintaining supplier performance, and driving inventory efficiency. You'll play a key role in building strong supplier relationships and ensuring product availability—all while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Update and maintain supplier schedules to reflect accurate delivery commitments.
    • Proactively manage supplier performance, address delinquencies, and develop recovery plans as needed.
    • Communicate upcoming supplier issues to internal stakeholders, especially to the Kreisler team.
    • Expedite critical materials throughout the supply chain, including managing dock-to-stock processes.
    • Elevate material shortages or risks across the organization in a timely and solutions-focused manner.
    • Ensure availability of materials to meet production requirements.
    • Maintain optimal inventory levels—minimizing excess while ensuring production continuity.
    • Participate in physical inventory activities and maintain accurate inventory records.
    • Enter daily receipts and service transactions accurately and promptly.
    • Communicate clearly, courteously, and effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
    • Foster strong supplier relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and mutual accountability.

    • Consistently achieve 100% On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance with assigned suppliers.
    • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external suppliers based on trust, accountability, and clear communication.
    • Communicate with clarity and professionalism , especially when navigating challenges or delays.
    • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact production.
    • Support team alignment through open dialogue, collaboration, and a solution-oriented mindset.
    • Make confident, timely decisions that keep production moving and stakeholders informed.
    • Continuously seek improvement , staying curious, adaptable, and focused on optimizing processes.
