    JOB DESCRIPTION

    You will be responsible for assisting with loading/unloading trucks and moving material within the warehouse to and from the loading platform. The position also operates hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, computer and scanners.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Unload/Stage incoming shipments with various MHE equipment
    • Operate forklift and power jacks safely observing all safety rules, utilizing horns and maintaining proper speeds
    • Prepare/breakdown inbound shipment for accuracy validation
    • Pull orders and stage materials at production in a timely manner
    • Maintain regular and frequent communication with Production Supervisors to ensure necessary raw materials and product are available for each shift
    • Perform shipping and receiving function, including wrapping and banding pallet, loading and unloading trucks, preparing appropriate shipping documents and entering receipts into inventory. Ensure accuracy of picking customer orders.
      Maintain a clean, organized work area during and end of shift
    • Perform general warehouse housekeeping including sweeping, mopping, emptying trash
    • Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required

    You Must Have:

    • 1+ years in warehouse and/or shipping role, preferably in a manufacturing operation pick n pack environment
    • Ability to work as a team member and independently at times with little supervision
    • Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments with a positive attitude
    • Math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals are required to follow instructions
    • Operates machinery and handles products including print materials
    • Ability to follow safety procedures and work safely
    • Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance
    • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
    • Frequently required to move inside the facility
    • Basic Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, internet research)
    • Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English

    We Would Also Prefer:

    • Ability to become certified on a forklift
    • 1+ years in warehouse and/or shipping role, preferably in a manufacturing operations environment
    • Strong attention to detail, process driven and well organized
    • A service-oriented individual with a high energy, positive and friendly demeanor
    • Ability to respond to changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
