We are seeking a Materials Buyer to join our team! You will be responsible for the direct purchasing of materials necessary to complete operational projects.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate available supply channels to increase product value and reduce production cost
• Negotiate contracts with outside vendors
• Establish material and equipment budget
• Analyze and assess demand for production projects
• Log and record all invoices and purchasing orders
• Monitor inventory and storage of raw materials for manufacturing
• Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a purchasing agent or other related fields
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• 10+ years experience :A solid and stable work history is a must
• Team player who is willing to step up when needed
• Inventory management experience is needed
• Strong computer skills
• Strong communicator
• Ability to quickly learn their products and processes.
• Ability to develop and keep good vendor relationships
• Analize, maintain and monitor suppliers, lead-times, source list, materials, Etc.
