    Job Description

    The Materials Management Associate II, working under limited supervision is responsible for ensuring routine cGMP and cGDP warehousing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes are effectively implemented and followed to ensure batch control and traceability of all materials used in the manufacture and/or testing of finished products and intermediates. This position coordinates daily shipping and receiving activities at the AgNovos-Rockville facility, as well as clinical and commercial order fulfillment activities and returns with 3PL partners. The position requires understanding of GMP compliant inventory management concepts and the ability to perform routine inventory transactions physically and within the ERP system (SAP). The Materials Management Associate II provides general operational support through the fulfillment of inventory requests and production support, as well as administrative support for non-manufacturing internal customers.

    ** Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

    • Perform warehouse activities and supply chain tasks required to maintain compliant and effective materials management processes.
    • Maintain GMP compliant level of stock controls within the inventory areas including all activities from materials receipt, segregation, dispositioning, and final issuance for use. Maintain all systems and documentation in accordance with GDP requirements.
    • Physically receive, inspect, and process GMP and Non-GMP deliveries, along with the necessary documentation.
    • Shipment (domestic and international) of all packages and bulk material transfers, including clinical and commercial products, vendor returns for rejected or damaged goods, along with the coordination of clinical site and commercial customer returns.
    • Coordinate and manage the clinical and commercial order fulfillment process with 3PL partners through daily communication, instruction, and issue resolution.
    • Realtime processing and maintenance of all Materials Management transactional activities in the ERP system.
    • Inventory management of all materials, to include cycle counts, transfers, adjustments, issuances, etc.
    • Pull and stage inventory from the warehouse to satisfy material reservation requests to provide material/inventory support for scheduled production or non-production needs. Additional material preparation support for production includes compliant packaging or cleaning/wiping down of materials before transfer to the manufacturing suite.
    • Support manufacturing and production activities.
    • Full ownership of an organized, efficient, and GMP compliant warehouse.
    • Support department specific controlled document maintenance requirements (i.e., SOP revision/creation, CAPAs, Change Controls, etc.).
    • Participate in cross-training opportunities with other internal stakeholder groups (QA, R&D).
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma required.
    • 3+ years related experience, some GMP experience required.
    • Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office software; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
    • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations.
    • Related military training & job responsibilities in Supply Chain a plus
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
    • Good communication, time management, and mathematical skills are required.
    • Demonstrate general working knowledge of manufacturing supply chain activities including procurement, inventory management, and production management.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Routine required bending, stooping, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking .
    • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
    • Office-based environment.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as goggles, face shield, surgical mask, bouffant cap, gloves, etc. The employee may be exposed to biohazards.
    • Company provided safety shoes required while working in the warehouse.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    The hourly rate for this position is $25/hr- $30/hr. Final hourly rate will be determined based on several factors including market analysis, experience and internal equity.
