Inventory and replenish department supplies utilizing the Pyxis Supply Station. Par assist, par levels, pick lists, and message orders. Receives incoming materials and maintains warehouse storage area. Delivery and pick-up of on and off campus department supplies, mail, bank bags, etc. in hospital vehicle. All aspects of mail including pickup, delivery and sorting.

• Ability to prioritize all duties with a focus on time management.

• Ensures that all pick-up and deliveries occur in a timely, accurate manner.

• Coordinates special deliveries within other scheduled tasks efficiently.

• Ensure that all delivery receipts are signed and logs maintained accurately?

• Loads/unloads materials in Pyxis and Kanban carts as necessary.

• Coordinates and assist in the Pyxis and Kanban carts replenishment function.

• Prepares special purchase requisitions in timely, accurately manner.

• Screens requisitions and selects appropriate vendor for purchase.

• Processes issues and disbursements efficiently and error free.

• Identifies and corrects errors detected on daily receiving report listing.

• Performs record updates for the MMIS efficiently.

• Provides satisfactory assistance to customer inquiries.

• Processes credit and returns accurately.

• Updates online ordering to meet customer requests.

• Performs other miscellaneous duties assigned by the Assistant Director and/or Director MM.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Required Experience

Minimum Work Experience:

• Twelve to eighteen month's experience working with patient care supplies and equipment is preferred, either in central supply, surgery, or patient care area.

• An ability to communicate well and handle clerical control systems is also required.

• Clean driving record required.

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly.

• An understanding of t he use/purpose of supplies and equipment is highly desirable.

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
