    Sansom Staffing is proud to partner with a leading manufacturer to hire an experienced Materials Manager for a key leadership role. This position drives the entire material flow process—from purchasing and inventory to logistics, shipping, and receiving—ensuring everything runs efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.

    What You’ll Do:
    • Lead purchasing operations: vendor selection, negotiations, and supplier performance.

    • Oversee inventory systems to ensure accuracy, minimize costs, and prevent shortages.

    • Manage shipping and receiving to meet safety and compliance standards.

    • Coordinate material deliveries to production and job sites to keep projects on track.

    • Collaborate across departments to align materials with production needs.

    • Develop and track KPIs for purchasing, logistics, and inventory efficiency.

    • Drive supplier improvement and resolve material flow challenges.

    • Lead and mentor a high-performing materials team.

    • Partner with Finance on cost control, budgeting, and reporting.

    What You’ll Bring:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred).

    • 7–10 years of progressive materials management experience in manufacturing.

    • Strong background in purchasing, logistics, and ERP/MRP systems.

    • Proven success managing vendor relationships and coordinating deliveries.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

    • Analytical mindset focused on accuracy, efficiency, and cost savings.
