Position Summary
Superior Sales & Service is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Materials & Purchasing Coordinator to support purchasing operations, inventory accuracy, and ERP data management within our manufacturing environment.
This position is responsible for purchasing production materials, maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), supporting inventory cycle counts, and ensuring purchasing records, ERP data, spreadsheets, and documentation remain accurate and up to date.
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to the Plattsmouth area.
This position works directly with production personnel, inventory, management, and suppliers on a daily basis. Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and collaborating with on-site teams to support production operations.
The ideal candidate understands how purchasing activities impact inventory levels, material availability, and production operations and is comfortable maintaining accurate data within an ERP system.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, or a related manufacturing support role.
Hands-on experience with NetSuite or Oracle ERP systems.
Experience maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to work on-site in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
Preference will be given to candidates who currently reside within commuting distance of Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing purchasing experience.
Inventory cycle count experience.
Experience monitoring inventory levels and supporting production material requirements.
Experience working cross-functionally with production, engineering, accounting, and management teams.
Knowledge of supplier relationship management and purchasing best practices.
