    What you will do as a Math Instructor STEM College Student:

    Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting

    Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions

    Communicate student progress with parents and guardians

    Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices

    Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

    What we are looking for in a Math Instructor STEM College Student:

    Passion for math and education — helping students build confidence and mastery

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — able to connect with students, parents, and colleagues

    Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow through ongoing training

    Math proficiency through at least Algebra II (Statistics or Calculus strongly preferred)

    Reliability, professionalism, and ability to work as part of a team

    College-level coursework in math, education, or STEM is highly desirable

    As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
