Part-Time Math Tutor (Grades 1–12) – Ideal for STEM Majors & Future Teachers

Who Love math and enjoy helping others succeed?

Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 2422101), is hiring part-time math tutors to work with students in grades 1–12. This is an excellent opportunity for college students, STEM majors, and future teachers who want hands-on teaching experience while making a real impact in students’ academic confidence and success.

Schedule Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM Prefers Monday through Thursday Optional Saturday hours may be available

This role is ideal for college students with daytime class schedules.

Many of our instructors are college students pursuing careers in education, engineering, or other STEM fields.

This Job is Perfect for: • STEM majors (Math, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science) • Education majors or teaching credential candidates • College students seeking hands-on teaching experience • Future teachers who enjoy mentoring and helping students build confidence

What You Will Do: • Teach math concepts to students in grades 1–12 • Provide individualized instruction in a small "team teaching method" • Help students build confidence and problem-solving skills • Track student progress during sessions • Support a positive and encouraging learning environment

No lesson planning required — all curriculum and materials are provided.

Qualifications: • Strong math skills (Algebra I & 2, Geometry, Trig, Statistic required; AP Calculus or AP Statistics preferred) • Currently enrolled in or completed coursework in math, education, or STEM • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Reliable, professional, and positive attitude • Passion for helping students succeed

All candidates will complete a short math assessment during the hiring process.
