Position Summary
Mathnasium of North La Mesa is looking for an exceptional Math Instructor / Tutor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. The ideal candidate is a bright, passionate, and dedicated professional with excellent interpersonal, mathematical, and instructional skills. This opportunity presents the right candidate a unique career path focused on helping the community and working with students, as well as a rich experience developing professional skills.
All applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. Following hiring, the new team member is required to complete training in the Mathnasium Method™. This is a part-time role with flexible hours.

What You’ll Do
Provide engaging, individualized math instruction to students of all ages.
Use the proven Mathnasium Method™ and become proficient with our digital and in-person tools.
Track and assess student progress and collaborate with the instructional team.
Communicate effectively with students and parents to build lasting relationships.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring learning environment.
Who You Are
Passionate about math and helping students succeed.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Math proficiency through at least Algebra I (higher-level math is a bonus!).
Responsible, dependable, and adaptable to a dynamic learning environment.
Willing to learn and complete training in the Mathnasium Method™.
Requirements
Must pass a math literacy assessment.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Pass a background check.
