New Generation Academy, a fully accredited school, is seeking to hire High School Math Tutors

Job Description (Required):

• This is a face-to-face opportunity only. You will work with our partner schools in the public school setting to increase student achievement.
• We hire across metro Atlanta but our current focus is hiring tutors in the South Fulton areas of East Point, College Park and in Fairburn.
• Tutors should be equipped to accelerate student learning using various curriculum resources provided by the school and partner organizations.
• You will use student data to differentiate math instruction for your students and adapt lesson plans as needed.
• Tutors must have at least 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching in the subject area(s).
• Tutors should be available during the school day for their assignments (approximately 8 a.m.—3 p.m.) for a minimum of four days per week.
• Prospects must pass a comprehensive background check, including fingerprints.
• Paid pre-service training and in-service professional development are provided.
• You must be prepared to navigate varying hardware and software technology and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
• You must proactively approach work to complete timely deliverables and maintain a proper work-life balance.
