Job Description
Our Math Learning Center is looking for a self-motivated/starter with experience in customer service, sales, and operations. This person will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations associated with running a smooth learning center. They will also assist with math tutoring, customer service, sales, and operational tasks. Online and in-center training will be provided.
Must have prior experience in customer service in an office working environment, live in the San Diego area and be able to accommodate afternoon hours Monday - Friday and Saturday morning.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Positively interact/engage with students and parents, building rapport, establishing trust, answering any inquiries, and taking the time to get the know the families
Conduct sales outreach via phone, email, text, lead follow-up, program consultations and signing up new families into the program
Data entry and spreadsheet management of all key sales and operational activities
Conduct student assessments, grading, and printing materials and reports for parent reviews
Digital Marketing tasks include writing blogs and posts on social media and website channels
Support center staff with administrative and cleaning tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
Recent college graduate with a degree in mathematics, sciences, engineering, communications or teaching
Strong foundational math skills till Algebra
2+ Prior working experience in customer service
Strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication & organizational skills
Ability to multi-task efficiently
Excellent PC, MS Office skills, and data entry skills
Strong work ethic, punctual, detail-oriented, and reliable
Must be available to work 1 PM-7 PM Monday - Friday, and Saturday from 9 AM - 1 PM.
