Positon Summary

We are looking for an exceptional Assistant Math Learning Center Director to join our team. This is a part-time role with flexible hours. You will create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. If you are driven, motivated, and eager to make a difference, we would love to meet you!

The ideal candidate will be a bright, passionate, and ambitious professional with excellent interpersonal, math, instruction, and tutoring skills. This opportunity presents the right candidate a unique career path focused on helping the community and working with students, as well as a rich experience developing professional skills.

Training is provided. All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.

Job Responsibilities

Provide exceptional instruction/tutoring services to students

Teach using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices

Evaluate and correct student work and homework

Work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for student

Support the Center Director in administering student assessments and developing student learning plans

Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students

Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress

Lead and coach team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting

Manage students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions

Mentor and support employee development by providing on-the-job training to instructional staff

Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices

Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment

Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Passion for math and working with students in the center and online

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Eagerness to learn and be trained

Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance education and sales responsibilities

Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 2

Proficiency in computer skills
