The Mathnasium event coordinator is a part-time role with variable hours in the evenings and on weekends - we envision this being a 10 to 20 hour per month position.

Responsibilities

1. Setting up tents, tables, and supplies at various marketing events such as community events, school math nights, school carnivals, farmer's markets, etc.
2. Facilitating games and activities for children at the events to attract the attention of passersby.
3. Discussing various aspects of our tutoring services to curious customers.
4. Encouraging families to fill out event lead sheets so that Center Directors can reach out to them for free assessments.
5. Finding local events nearby our centers that attract the type of people who might be interested in our services.

Expectations

1. You must have your own transportation that can potentially hold canvas tent, tables, chairs, and event supplies.
2. You must be willing to travel to events in Davidson, Williamson, and Sumner County (we will reimburse for mileage).
3. You must generally be available and willing to work on evenings and weekends whenever necessary and have very few times when you would have to turn down an event opportunity.
4. You must be bubbly, fun, and confident - these events only work when someone is willing to be brave, get out in front of the table, and interact with people.

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
