Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00am - 3:30pm)

Hourly/non-exempt position with possibility for overtime.

Summary:

The team lead is responsible for providing guidance and direction to the fulfillment center’s team responsible for the receiving, put-away, and replenishment of finished goods. This position ensures that the day-to-day operations run smoothly by providing continuous support, training, and guidance. The team lead is responsible for ensuring that the team is performing its duties and meeting all company safety, quality, and department standards.

Main Duties amp; Responsibilities:

• Properly align resources and workloads to maximize efficiency and ensure operational success.

• Manage the daily work plan with the supervisor’s assistance and provide daily hands-on support.

• Be an advocate for our continuous improvement efforts.

• Assist supervisor in effectively handling planned and unplanned workflow in the department(s).

• Actively manage all receiving activities to ensure that goods are being received accurately.

• Manage the quick put-away and replenishment of products to ensure that they are available and accessible.

• Communicate with the Supervisor daily to ensure that department goals are being met.

• Troubleshoot and manage communications concerning inaccuracies in all inbound activities to ensure that a resolution is found promptly..

• Manage internal communications regarding any special instructions or projects related to inventory and inbound shipments.

• Provide job training, cross-training, coaching, and mentoring to new and existing employees.

• Help deliver and manage a safe working environment by training and implementing superior housekeeping standards.

• Maintain an organized and clean environment through consistent monitoring.

• Be an active participant in the testing/deployment of WMS builds minimizing the impact to our production environment.

• Become a WMS super user and lead end-user training across the fulfillment center.

• Monitor accuracy and activity in outbound operations.

• Other duties as required.

Qualification Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse team lead position required

• Must have excellent computer skills.

• Ability to work independently demonstrating initiative.

• Self-starter: the ability to adapt or change work practices, priorities, and/or procedures to meet the demands of the business.

• Effective communication skills

• A team player with a positive attitude towards work and team engagement.

• Proactive with problem-solving and continuous improvement.
