We are in search of a capable and driven Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of expertise in litigating family and divorce law cases in NYC. The perfect candidate will possess excellent litigation skills, be accustomed to managing contested divorce cases and family law affairs, and bring a client-centric approach to their practice. We are interested in an attorney who is enthusiastic about litigation yet also adept at negotiating amicable resolutions for clients. Responsibilities: • Independently manage a caseload of divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, and equitable distribution matters. • Conduct client consultations, legal research, and case strategy development. • Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and pre/post-nuptial agreements. • Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively in contested matters. • Collaborate with partners and other team members to ensure successful case outcomes. • Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed and engaged throughout their case. Qualifications: • J.D. or L.L.M. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in New York. • 2-3 years of experience handling family and matrimonial law matters in a NYC Law Firm. • Strong litigation and courtroom advocacy skills. • Excellent writing, negotiation, and case management abilities. • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. • Compassionate and client-focused approach to family law matters. Compensation: $120,000+
