Vacca Family Law Group is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Associate Attorney to join our compassionate and forward-thinking team. This full-time hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on complex, meaningful family law matters in a non-litigation-focused practice that values mediation, collaboration, and preserving relationships. ***We appreciate your interest; however, this position is not open to recruiter or agency submissions at this time. Responsibilities: • Effectively execute strategy on all cases for which you are the responsible Attorney or those cases assigned to you by the Managing Attorney from inception through settlement and closure. • Assume responsibility for the competent provision of mediation and legal services, including drafting settlement agreements, prenuptial agreements, memos to clients, and status updates. • Work with other members of the legal team to develop a case strategy and provide direction to paralegals and legal assistants. • Serve as principal contact between the Firm and the clients on cases assigned to you and advise such clients regarding their legal rights, obligations, and best interests. • Gather and organize financial information and create financial reports. • Analyze case-specific issues and documentation, and conduct legal and other research as needed. • Move cases through the process in accordance with goals and established milestones. • Foster and maintain an excellent rapport with clients through consistent communication to provide information on the firm’s behalf and respond to their questions. • Track and record time daily on client matters and administrative tasks. • Prepare necessary memoranda and reports to ensure accurate documentation of the file. • Demonstrate strong. communication skills and problem-solving skills to work with all levels of staff and clients. • Ensure that all CLEs are completed prior to license renewal deadlines and that said bar license is in good standing. Qualifications: • JD from an accredited law school. • Admitted and in good standing with the NY State Bar. • 5+ years of experience in family law. • Mediation certification and strong mediation experience. • Collaborative Divorce certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire). Compensation: $135,000 - $175,000 - Plus incentive & origination bonus potential

    $120,000-$150,000 per year
