Matrix designs, manufactures, and sells innovative technological products that help keep people safe. Originally focused on the underground coal mining industry, Matrix has expanded into new industrial markets in the United States and globally.
We are currently seeking an experienced UX/UI Developer. This position works in a team environment and will report to of our home office in Newburgh, IN. This position will be a hybrid position and will require up to 25% of time in the Newburgh office.
This position reports to the Director of Cloud Services.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and refine User interfaces across cloud and mobile application platforms
o Graphical elements may be produced in-house or from external firms.
• Assist cloud developers with integration of UX/UI designs.
• Implement designs using various front-end frameworks.
Qualifications & Competencies
• Bachelor's degree In Computer Science or related field
• 2-4 years' experience with developing UX/UI for cloud native applications.
o Applications will also have a mobile presentation format.
• Experience with Blazor and/or Razor pages
• Experience with jQuery, ReactJS, and other JavaScript frameworks.
• Significant experience with CSS
• XAML experience a plus
• Graphics design capabilities a plus
• Familiarity with container development, specifically docker
• Experience using the following:
o Power Shell
o Azure CLI
o Azure Portal
Working Conditions
Daily Job duties will consist of office, lab, and desk work. Candidates may be required to work onsite in various customer environments (industrial, mining, corporate, etc.). While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to work near large moving machinery. Occasional travel and ability to work various shifts as required by customer. International Travel may be required.
Location
This position is hybrid and will require up to 20-25% of time in the Newburgh, IN office. Candidates should reside within 200 miles of the Newburgh/Evansville, IN area.
