Job Description

Matrix Equities Inc., a growing and diverse real estate investment, development and management company, with expertise and projects that include land planning and entitlement, mixed use and residential master plan development, commercial and residential construction and homebuilding, is seeking a individual with a minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience to fill a full-time position.

This position requires substantial experience with QuickBooks, general ledger maintenance, and monthly financial reporting for multiple entities. Other duties include A/P, billing and A/R, payroll, bank statement reconciliation, cash flow reporting, job costing, budget entry for real estate development projects, and payroll and human resources support. The individual will work closely with the owner and management of this privately held company.

Knowledge, skills and abilities must include an strong proficiency in QuickBooks, an overall general understanding of accounting principles; strong analytical skills, ability to multi task and solve problems; solid verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills; an ability to work independently and as part of a team; and a willingness to take ownership of work product/projects and take on new and challenging tasks when necessary.

Minimum qualifications include:

· Minimum 5 years experience,

· Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Pro, Enterprise or other Desktop version

· Strong prioritization and organization skills

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

· Payroll and Payroll Tax Experience

· Homebuilding or Construction Experience a plus

· Working knowledge of income taxation a plus.
