    POSITION SUMMARY:

    We are looking for a Java Architect to develop video services for integrating Audio/Video Services with other homegrown and 3rd party Telehealth solutions, platforms, and services. This position is for an individual will be working on the architecting and designing cool Java applications using SIP and WebRTC standards that enables enhanced communication between physicians and their patients.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Effective leadership skills, but willing and able to do 25 +/- hours a week of hands on programming, development and/or code review
    • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and drive work forward
    • Develop and maintain the blueprint of information technology architecture to meet business needs
    • Design and implement scalable solutions to meet business requirements using SOA architecture
    • Develop, maintain, and enforce development standards
    • Document, maintain and present best practice strategies to ensure near-term changes are aligned with long-term IT objectives.

    SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

    • 10+ Years of Industry experience in Java/ J2EE
    • Experience in N-Tier software solution architecture
    • Experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, and implementation
    • Some understanding of Video Engineering and Collaboration architecture, including experience with WebRTC
    • Application Development experience in Object Oriented programming and design skills
    • Experience with Micro Service Architecture
    • Experience on Mobile and Web Solutions
    • Full application development life cycle experience
    • Experience on Containers, High Availability Solution Design
    • Versioning systems and release management
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related technical area.
    • Master's Degree is preferred.

    DESIRABLE

    • Demonstrated complex technical accomplishment (e.g., public domain code contribution, technical blog demonstrating complex technical solution, etc.)
    • Health care domain knowledge will be a plus.
