    The Matrix Sciences Laboratory in our Umatilla, Oregon location supports the agricultural and environmental communities throughout the Pacific Northwest. It serves the agricultural, industrial and environmental industries’ testing with a comprehensive range of capabilities and services.

    ROLE SUMMARY:

    The Customer Service Representative role provides positive customer service for clients of Matrix Sciences. This includes resolving sample related issues and assisting in the delivery of accurate data to clients.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
    • Coordinate daily customer facing operations to ensure that resources are effectively scheduled to deliver on customer commitments in a way that is compliant with established systems.
    • Process client requests and communicate client data by email, mail, or fax.
    • Support Sample log-in and reporting functions, keeping open communication with laboratory leadership and technical staff.
    • Document and escalate client feedback when appropriate to laboratory leadership.
    • Communicate new growth opportunities to local leadership.
    • Act as liaison for AP/AR by assisting clients with invoice questions and compiling invoicing data.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers. Provide support for client requests with sample tracking for subcontract orders and sample supplies.
    • Initiate procedures and practices to maintain accuracy and efficiency for office tasks. Assist and answer questions of other personnel.
    • Organize and maintain records of samples per established procedures.
    • Other duties may be assigned to assist with the operations of the organization.

    WHAT YOU HAVE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and/or minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience
    • Demonstrated ability to work with a team.
    • Positive outlook with the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
